Meet a Scientist events are generally focused on showcasing the diversity of career paths and career options within Earth, Environmental and Climate sciences to children attending elementary through high school.

STUDENT CAREER PANEL
Current graduate students in Stanford's School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences, and occasionally at other institutions, speak about their career paths with students.

STANFORD LABS VISIT
Students from other educational institutions come to the Stanford University campus and meet with graduate students working in the environmental sciences to tour their labs and hear about their work
CLASSROOM VISIT
One Stanford scientist visits a class at a local school and talks about a topic of interest to the class. Topics can include career trajectory, their current and former scientific research, and hurdles they've encountered during their scientific career.
